What Pacific Fibre Uses
Saw Mill
Pacific Fibre Products has two band mills. One is a Timber Wolf Saw with a 48″ opening and a 40′ track. We also have a Baker Saw with a 36″ opening and a 36′ track. Pacific Fibre specializes in custom sawing of wood and is able to cut beams 36′ long and up to 24″X 24″. We saw hardwood, fir and cedar.
Chipping
Our facility is comprised of 4 production chip mills, three in Washington and one in Oregon. These mills have been designed to efficiently meet the demands of our customers for service and quality. Each mill is capable of handling large volumes of wood from 40′ long logs down to chunks 24″ long with a 3″ minimum in diameter. Utilizing 100% of our raw material allows us to recover the largest volume of fiber from the resources brought to us.
Log Stackers
Pacific Fibre Products has full load capacity log stackers. We have both CAT 988-H and 988-G models to safely and efficiently move our logs. To ensure everyone’s safety, drivers who are delivering logs to our facility should report to our scales before entering our yards. Shovels
Pacific Fibre Products use CAT 325 and 330 log loading shovels for high decking, sorting, and loading trucks at our facilities.
Portable Chipper
Pacific Fibre utilizes a portable chipper in the manufacturing of cedar chips and hardwoods.
